People with albinism have very poor vision (10%) and the eyes are very light sensitive.
We provide several schools with vision-enhancing tools.

skin cancer prevention
Tanzania lies on the equator so the sun is very powerful. Because people with albinism have little or no pigment in their skin they burn quickly. As a result, 90% do not live beyond the age of 30 due to skin cancer. Our projects focus on prevention through sun creams, skin checks, sun hats and body covering clothes.
